Lord Howe Environmental Tours provides a range of kayaking activities designed to cater for all levels of experience and recreational opportunities, from a quiet lagoon paddle and snorkel to an adventurous ocean sea cave expedition.

Guided Lagoon Tour
Come and kayak on one of the world’s most beautiful lagoons where you can explore secluded coral holes, visit deserted beaches and learn about the Island’s amazing marine environment.
“Australis” Sit-on-top kayaks renowned for their stability and ease of access are provided for the tour.
Tours are scheduled according to tide and wind conditions.

Guided Ocean Expeditions
For the more adventurous and experienced kayaker, join us on our Guided Ocean Kayaking Expeditions. These expeditions explore coastline destinations rarely frequented by visitors.

North Head Sea Cave Kayaking Expedition
One of the truly amazing geological gems of Lord Howe Island are its sea caves. These caves are most numerous around the Island’s northern coastline and can only be explored by small craft or kayak.

Admiralty Island Kayaking Expedition
Located a few kilometres to the north of Lord Howe Island lie the Admiralty Islands, this island group is home to tens of thousands of migratory seabirds and is surrounded by a high energy coral reef environment. 

Mt Gower Kayaking Expedition
Rising to a height of 875 metres out of the ocean, Mt Gower is truly one of the worlds more spectacular volcanic mountains. Kayak to the south western end of the Island and explore a coastline dominated by the massive topography of Mt Gower and its huge vertical sea cliffs.
