Lord Howe Environmental Tours was established in 1998 by Dean and Roslyn Hiscox.
Prior to establishing this company, Dean worked for a period of sixteen years as the Island Ranger. Dean’s extensive experience in the management of the Island’s natural environment has enabled him to develop a range of high quality tours that showcase the incredible beauty and diversity of Lord Howe Island’s marine and terrestrial environments.
Roslyn Hiscox, nee Wilson, is a fifth generation Islander who worked for the Island administration for many years and has greatly assisted Dean in all facets of the companies development.
Ken and Jill Hisco, Dean’s parents, also play an integral part in the operation of this family business. Ken and Jill spent most of their lives in the tropics and bring with them the experience and knowledge of diverse and unique environments such as the world’s largest saltwater lagoon, the Marovo Lagoon in the Solomon Islands.
